For A Culture, LLC is an ecological design practice steeped in the research and development of regenerative land management systems. We work across disciplines, in the areas of landscape architecture, planning, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, farm-to-school curriculum, and work-based education. Carrying with us a belief that good design can make a difference, we aim to focus our efforts in areas that provide the highest value to the most people.
We offer design, project management, site consultations, workshops, presentations, and resources at all scales, with a specialty in helping municipalities, schools, non-profits, and other mission-driven organizations get good projects built.
Through the Whole Systems Design Collective, LLC, we lead and work with teams of engineers and architects on complex projects, from living streets to large agricultural master plans.
We balance our time in the studio with time spent on the land - tending, teaching, learning, doing - drawing on immersive experiences and wild places as constant sources of inspiration.
The good spots are the hardest to find but, often the most rewarding.
When we're not outside, you can try to find us off the backside of Mt. Agementicus and a stone's throw from the beach in Cape Neddick, ME.
